Dateline vs Deadline

I encounter this confusion many times, in the emails, articles, blog post. A common mistake I supposed especially when English is not the native tounge. So, my public service for today...

Dateline

nour.. if you want to refer to due date of an assignment, use DEADLINE. ;-)

oooo... i have always been confused too but never thot of looking up the dictionary... hahaha.. vain, i know :P so it's deadline now, not dateline for all my tasks... thx jade!!

i actually put this in my 'so long, farewell' email last year, and dedicated the whole paragraph to all Project Managers. Hihi.
